Hezbollah-Israel ceasefire begins

A ceasefire has begun between Israel and Hezbollah. According to the US-brokered ceasefire agreement, Israel will withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon within 60 days and the Lebanese government will take control of the area under Hezbollah control. According to the agreement, Hezbollah will remove its fighters and weapons from the Latani River.

In this regard, US President Joe Biden said that Israel and Hezbollah have accepted the ceasefire proposal, the agreement is designed to permanently end hostilities.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also welcomed the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.

On the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, the Israeli Prime Minister said that if Hezbollah violates the agreement, they will not hesitate to attack again.

According to Israeli media reports, despite the ceasefire agreement, the Israeli army has instructed Lebanese citizens not to return to southern Lebanon for the time being, saying that it will update them on the safe return of Lebanese citizens.

According to a foreign news agency, Hezbollah has not issued an official response to the ceasefire, however, senior Hezbollah official Hassan Fadlallah, speaking to Lebanese media, said that they support the expansion of the powers of the Lebanese state, disarming the resistance was an Israeli proposal that failed.

Meanwhile, before the ceasefire agreement was approved, Israel bombed 30 Hezbollah targets and claimed to have killed 42 more people, including a Hezbollah commander, in Tahrir.

Meanwhile, two Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah attacked an Israeli military camp in Nahariya with rockets, injuring three people.
